HALAL AND GOOD FOOD IS BETTER FOR YOUR HEALTH, WHILE
HARAM FOOD IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR BODY
by Syarif Hidayat
Muslims are allowed to consume what is
"halal" and "good" food and drink. (In
the
name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Al Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqara, Verse:168 "O
mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and wholesome in the earth, and follow not
the footsteps of the devil. Lo! he is an open enemy for you.) - that is, what is pure, clean, wholesome,
nourishing, and pleasing to the taste. In general, everything is allowed
(halal) except what has been specifically forbidden.
